Five E-System DSLRs Compared: ISO Performance

Five E-System DSLRs Compared (RAW, Silkypix Developer Studio): ISO Performance

[Back]

All images were shot with the Olympus Zuiko Digital 50-200mm F2.8-3.5 lens at F6.3,
with camera defaults where relevant, developed with Silkypix Developer Studio 3.0.12.2
using defaults except where noted, Demosaic sharp was set to 50 (instead of 80)
for the E-400, output to TIFF, post-processing with PMView Pro 3.51 (crop, scale) to
PNG. Crops were taken of identical parts of the scene, which resulted in 480x360
crops for the E-1 and 684x513 crops for the E-400/510, and scaled up by different
factors to consistently yield 1024x768 as the final size, from which a 400x300 crop was
taken for this presentation.
